Influence of zeolite addition on mechanical performance and shrinkage of high strength Engineered Cementitious Composites

In this study, calcined zeolite particles were used as internal curing agent to replace cement and quartz sand simultaneously in Ordinary Portland Cement(OPC) based Engineered Cementitious Composites(ECC) material. The influence of the zeolite-cement replacement on mechanical performance shrinkage materials experimentally investigated. ECC specimens with water-binder ratio 0.2 content 192 kg/m3 prepared, replacements controlled 0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90% 100%. Compression test, uniaxial tension, relative humidity test conducted specimens. results show that, increase replacement, strength material first increases then decreases, crack width control ability during tension process is improved. autogenous are also improved, while has little drying drop caused by environmental drying.
